Update from Alice

In 1991 I legally changed my name to Shayshoshewa as part of my spiritual practice.  In 2010 I founded the Society of the Compassionate Heart, Sacred Mountain Monastery in the mountains north of Boise and became a monastic with other five people.  I have two children- Kotetsu (Thomas) who  is a Buddhist monk, and a daughter Jill, who is a children’s therapist.  Currently I am the spiritual leader of the Amaraji Maha Marai a group dedicated to prayer and helping make a difference in the world.
